Guitar & Vocal
Introducing Andy Morgan. Andy first picked up a guitar at the ripe old age of 6 and hasn’t really put it down since. He started playing after watching his Step-Dad on his acoustic, playing House Of The Rising Sun, Deep Purple, and Fleetwood Mac riffs. The rest Is history.
This isn’t Andy and Luke’s first time playing in a band together. During their teenage years, they met, and formed a band in which they strived to become the best they could, honing their techniques and skills to a level rarely seen in players of similar age, or even older.
Now a Graduate from the renowned institute the Leeds College of Music, graduating in 2013, Andy and his beloved Stratocaster have played music right across the spectrum. From musical theatre, to hip-hop, to Drum and Bass. In 2012, he won the BBC Introducing competition on Chris Moyles’ Radio 1 Breakfast Show with his band ‘Citizen’, following which they enjoyed a string of high level gigs, UK and International festivals, including Parklife, Global Gathering and Hideout (Croatia), and shared the stage with some of today’s biggest artists, such as DJ Fresh, Andy C, Chase and Status, and Annie Mac. Even The Wurzels!
Andy has welcomed his return to Progressive music. Never one to turn down a challenge, he has taken joining Maschine in his stride, and looks to bring some personal flavours to the table.
